NUX - A/B ROLL

The NUX A/B ROLL is a hybrid pedal, halfway between a creative looper and an instant recording tool. Inspired by the experimental spirit of Abbey Road Studios, it's designed to capture ideas as they happen, without interrupting play or breaking the creative flow.

At the heart of the pedal is a looper capable of recording up to six minutes at 24-bit / 48 kHz quality, with unlimited overdubs. The special feature of A/B ROLL is its automatic recording mode: once activated, recording starts as soon as the instrument is played. There's no need to synchronise a foot-stomp, so you can concentrate entirely on the music. Trigger sensitivity can be finely adjusted to suit every playing style.

The pedal also features a polyphonic lower octave effect, controlled by the SUB potentiometer. This instantly adds breadth and depth to loops, a feature particularly appreciated by bassists, but also by guitarists wishing to thicken their arrangements.

The IR Cabinet Simulation section includes seven guitar and bass cabinet presets, directly accessible from the pedal. Via USB, you can use the IR Manager software to load your own impulse responses and fine-tune the rendering. The balanced jack output with cabinet simulation allows direct connection to an audio interface, console or broadcast system, without the need for an amp.

Also designed for silent practice, the A/B ROLL has a headphone output, transforming the pedal into a veritable mini workstation. Finally, the USB-C connection lets you transfer audio to a smartphone, tablet or computer for recording, sharing or backing up with audio tracks. Compact, intuitive and surprisingly complete, the NUX A/B ROLL is aimed at musicians who want to create, record and experiment without constraints.
