IK Multimedia has done it again!

By miniaturising the ToneX Pedal, which was released barely a year ago, the manufacturer is giving you access to almost infinite sound quality and modelling possibilities in a compact package.

At the heart of this little monster is the AIMM DSP audio engine, already used in its big sister, which has conquered the hearts and ears of guitarists and bassists the world over in just one year, generating amp and effects pedal modelling of astonishing quality.

Operation of this little ToneX One is simplified to the extreme thanks to its uncluttered interface. All the settings are dual-function, so all you have to do is press the ALT function to access the second function of a setting.

Naturally, the pedal operates in A/B mode: one Clean preset and one Crunch preset, but you can extend its capabilities by connecting to the ToneX SE application via PC/MAC and managing up to 20 presets and selecting from over 20,000 user presets on the tone.net website.

Whatever make or model of amp you're looking for, you'll find the one that suits you best, and you'll be able to fine-tune and optimise your sound settings.

You'll also have access to recreations of legendary pedals with all kinds of effects, naturally including a gate, compressor and reverb.

So the possibilities are multiplied tenfold, and you can choose between a simple rig based on an overdrive/distortion pedal or a complete sound chain: pedal + amp + cabinet.
