The J. Leiva Cajon Junior Oiled Waxed allows young percussionists to discover the cajon in the best possible conditions. Its compact size, measuring 34 cm in height, makes it easy to handle whilst retaining a natural playing feel.
Its 11 mm birch and beech plywood frame, assembled using water-based glue, provides a sturdy structure suitable for regular use.
The 3 mm Mokaly plywood playing surface responds precisely to different playing techniques, whilst the direct screen-printed design, protected by a cellulose finish, preserves its appearance over time.
The D.T.S. (Direct Tuning System), fitted with two V-shaped guitar strings that can be tuned from the outside, allows the snare drum’s response to be easily adjusted to suit the musician’s preferences.
Silicone feet isolate the cajón from the floor and improve its stability. Its natural oiled and waxed finish highlights the wood’s grain.
