Presentation
The JN Guitars EZR-DCFI Dreadnought Sunburst is a 4/4 size dreadnought electro-acoustic guitar from the Ezra series. Featuring a solid cedar top, it is distinguished by a warm and captivating sound that combines rich bass and clear treble.
Its cedar construction provides a round and velvety tone, ideal for those looking for a deep and enveloping sound, perfectly suited to folk and fingerpicking styles, but also effective in rhythm playing.
The body of the EZR-DCFI is made of sapele, a wood appreciated for its natural acoustic qualities and warm mids. The mahogany neck, profiled in "Oval C" with a satin finish, offers a comfortable grip and facilitates movement along the neck, while adding a pleasant touch.
The rosewood fingerboard and bridge complete this elegant construction, while abalone inlays at the 12th fret add a touch of sophistication to the guitar's aesthetic.
The electronics of this guitar are handled by a Fishman under-saddle pickup, paired with a Fishman ISYS-301 preamp. This set offers precise control over bass, treble and volume, as well as an integrated chromatic tuner, a phase selector and a battery charge indicator.
This configuration allows players to modulate their sound with precision and ensure a faithful reproduction of the instrument's acoustic richness, whether on stage or in the studio.
Aesthetically, the guitar features a satin sunburst finish, enhanced by an ivory ABS binding with black piping, which highlights the quality of manufacture and elegance of this model.
Nickel-plated oil-bath tuners ensure reliable tuning stability, even after extended playing sessions, and bone saddles provide clear, natural resonance.
JN Guitars’ Ezra series is part of an instrument design approach that focuses on warmth and emotion, and the EZR-DCFI is a perfect embodiment of this. It is a quality choice for guitarists looking for an electro acoustic that combines tradition and technology, while delivering deep, inspiring tones.
