The Purple Stained Meranti is a ukulele tinted with a purple watercolor. While the latter is already worth a look in itself, it is thin enough to reveal the beauty of the grooves of its resonance wood.
The latter, a wood native to Southeast Asia, commonly called Meranti, is widely used in violin making for its affordable cost. Like Kala, many manufacturers offer, thanks to this material, quality ukuleles at an affordable price.
