The Kala Grasshopper Ukadelic Soprano ukulele combines ease of use, clarity and robustness. It's an instrument designed for live performance and everyday pleasure.
The 336.55 mm pitch ensures well-balanced tension. The Aquila Super Nylgut® strings hold their shape without crimping. The poplar vibrates with depth, giving a timbre centred on the midrange. This light wood enhances projection while remaining practical.
The flat-cut plastic saddle guarantees stable tuning. It works well with the narrow 34.9 mm width of the saddle. The pine neck retains its rigidity under prolonged tension. It stands up well to variations in tuning and everyday use.
The 50.8 mm thickness provides ample acoustic volume. The laminated top concentrates the attack for a clear, direct sound. The wooden bridge, glued with synthetic glue, remains solid. This binding is resistant to humidity and dynamic playing.
