The Koassilator 2S ("S" for Sound on Sound) retains its touchpad, and you now get a looper with undo / redo and export phrases recorded Ableton Live format, multi-tracks or in stereo (the overdub tracks are mixed on two channels). Ableton Live Lite comes with the mini-synth. Data is stored on microSD / microSDHC cards up to 16 GB. The audio can be captured from the built-in microphone or input jack and a speaker is integrated.
