The KSD C-55 Reference stands out as a 2.5-way coaxial nearfield monitor, designed to meet the most demanding audio reproduction requirements. It features KSD's exclusive custom-built loudspeakers: a 5.5-inch coaxial main driver with glass fibre cone and 1-inch silk tweeter, and a dedicated 5.5-inch bass driver with glass fibre cone. This combination ensures exceptionally faithful sound reproduction, capturing every nuance with precision and musicality.

Technical Innovations and Performance:
- Advanced FIRTEC™ Technology: At the heart of the C-55 Reference is the FIRTEC™ processor incorporating patented linear phase filters, enabling extremely fast and accurate sound reproduction across the entire frequency range. Signal processing is managed by a DSP with FPGA processor, including FIR-Xover, limiter, 6 user EQ curves, high and low shelves, delay and gain.
- Optimal Coaxial Radiation: The coaxial design of the loudspeaker provides optimal radiation and a wide sweet spot, greatly simplifying positioning and allowing optimal listening distance in either vertical or horizontal orientation.
- High power and efficiency: Equipped with a power amplifier delivering over 350 W (peak), the C-55 Reference offers substantial power reserves suitable for any professional studio application.
