The Lab Gruppen IPX 4800 amplifier is a compact and versatile power solution, designed to meet the demands of sound professionals on the road or in fixed installations.
Capable of delivering 2400 W per channel into 4 ohms, this Class D amplifier offers optimal performance for large speakers and subwoofers requiring high power. The 1U rack-mount enclosure combines robustness and advanced technology for precise management of your audio system.
At the heart of the IPX 4800 is a powerful DSP engine, featuring 40 real-time multi-slope parametric EQs, adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters, and configurable delays for perfect output synchronization.
The maxSPL limiter effectively protects the speakers against overload. Configuration is easily done via the IPX Controller interface, available for PC and Mac, allowing intuitive adjustment thanks to touchscreen compatibility.
The amplifier features AES3 digital inputs with sampling rate conversion and redundant analog inputs for continuity of service even in the event of a power failure.
Neutrik speakON connectors and binding posts ensure reliable speaker connections. The front panel features dedicated controls for power on, menu navigation, and channel muting.
Featuring IDEEA technology for increased energy efficiency, the IPX 4800 is Energy Star certified, consuming less than one watt in standby mode.
This feature makes it an economical and environmentally friendly choice for large venues, conference centers, or touring systems.
