The 24.75" pitch narrows the intervals between frets, a measurable advantage for hands that work on heavy gauge strings or repeated bends.
The luthier's workmanship bears this heritage in no uncertain terms. The Set-Neck glued joint C-profile mahogany neck fuses the body and neck into one vibrant block - the transmission of sound between the two pieces is direct, with no loss in a bolt-on assembly. The Edgeless™ ebony fingerboard with Medium Jumbo 2.7 mm frets and rounded edges eliminates any snagging at the neck edge; the 12" radius accompanies barred positions without forcing the natural curvature of the palm. The 43mm saddle introduces a density of contact that synthetics don't, with 10.4mm string spacing that squeezes just enough for bowing. Premium die-cast tuners and chrome Tune-O-Matic with Stop Tail Piece keep the tuning under the most demanding dynamics.
