Sire Larry Carlton offers the L5 Candy Apple Red, a model that follows in the footsteps of single-cut guitars, while incorporating modern elements. Its mahogany body, combined with a hard maple top, provides a solid acoustic base for warmth and clarity.
The mahogany neck is set in a set-in construction for optimum vibration transmission and natural sustain. Its C-profile and 24.75" scale ensure smooth, even playability. The Edgeless™ rosewood fingerboard, with its rounded edges, enhances playing comfort and continuity of movement.
The 22 Medium Jumbo stainless steel frets and 12" radius allow precision suited to rich chords as well as expressive solos. The LC Standard-2 humbuckers, combined with the 3-position selector and push/pull controls, offer a wide variety of tonal configurations, from the powerful grain of double-coil to the finer nuances of single-coil.
