Sire Larry Carlton presents the L5 Candy Apple Red, a model that follows in the tradition of single-cut guitars by offering a construction that balances resonance and control. Its mahogany body and hard maple top provide a stable acoustic foundation for a variety of playing styles.
The mahogany neck, assembled using set-in construction, promotes direct vibration transmission. Its C-shaped profile and 24.75" pitch ensure a steady grip. The Edgeless™ rosewood fingerboard with rounded edges enhances comfort when on the move. The 22 Medium Jumbo stainless steel frets and 12" radius facilitate precise playing, both in chords and melodic lines.
The electronics are based on two LC Standard-2 humbuckers. The 3-position selector, combined with two volumes and two tones with push/pull function, gives access to double or single coil configurations, offering adaptation to different sonic contexts.
