With the L7 New Gen Tobacco Sunburst, Larry Carlton has created an exceptional guitar that sets new standards in modern playing. Its lightweight mahogany body, topped by a hard maple top with flame veneer, combines playing comfort with remarkable sound projection, warm bass, expressive mid-range and crystal-clear treble.
The set-in mahogany neck, with its C-shaped profile and 24.75" pitch, guarantees a natural grip and generous sustain. The Edgeless™ ebony fingerboard with rounded edges, combined with 22 Medium Jumbo stainless steel frets and a 12" radius, offers impeccable playability from the first fret to the last.
Fitted with two LC Vintage-2 humbuckers with integrated coil split, the L7 New Gen deploys a rich palette of sounds, from powerful vintage tone in double-coil to clear, airy textures in single-coil. The 3-position selector and independent volume/tone controls refine every nuance.
Its Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminium Stop Tailpiece and locking action ensure optimum tuning stability. High-gloss Tobacco Sunburst finish, ivory pickguard, gold hardware: a guitar that looks as good as it performs, from studio to stage.
