The set of Sire LC Super HSS pickups - revised for the New Gen - extends the sound palette from single to dense saturation, governed by a 5-position selector combined with a volume and tone control. The tortoiseshell cover plate on a black background creates a discreet visual contrast, the visual signature of the series.

The construction says it all. The Edgeless™ hard maple fingerboard with rounded edges eliminates edges on the neck edges, the 241.3 to 355.6 mm compound radius opens the hand in low positions and holds bends high without distorting. The 22 stainless steel medium jumbo frets (2.7 mm) glide smoothly and resist wear over time. The Graphtech Tusq XL 42 mm saddle stabilises intonation on opening, while the self-locking Sire Premium tuning machines lock the tuning in just a few turns. The 4-screw steel plate neck-body joint rigidly anchors the C-shaped hard maple neck, transmitting every vibration without loss.

The modern Sire 2-pivot vibrato invites inflections without destabilising the pitch, supported by DR Dragon Skin+ DEQ-10 strings fitted ex-factory. The Luminlay markings remain legible in a dark stage. This left-handed (LH) model has all the specifications of the right-handed model - no compromise on range, same access to sonic territory.
