The Bass reflex chamber hosting the 8" boomer (20cm) also welcomes the class D amplifiers of the system, with protection circuit against overtension, overheating and short circuits, as well as the DSP assuring the processing of LECC signal, a LD Systems specialty, and a 4 channels mixer. Its built-in Bluetooth receptor allows audio streaming (wireless) and the various available inputs (microphone, line, high impedance) allow to connect a wide range of signal sources to the MAUI 5, from the MP3 player to synthesizer.

Niveau de sortie très faible par rapport à ce qui est annoncé (800W). Le canal mp3 même à fond est peu audible et les autres entrées sont peu puissantes. La fonction Hi Boost est inexistante. Le rendu final manque de clarté. Le DSP n’empêche pas le larsen malgré ce qui est annoncé. Comparé aux MAUI 11 et 28 de mes copains ça n’a rien à voir (mais pas de peu la MAUI 5 est très en dessous) et même comparé à ma vieille sono Samson de 500W que ce soit en terme de puissance, de niveau sonore et de clarté. Bref je suis plutôt déçu.
