With their selectable transmitting power of up to 30 MW, the U500® series vocal sets achieve a range of more than 100 metres in free field conditions. They are available in three radio frequency bands: from 584 to 608 MHz and from 655 to 679 MHz, in which 12 systems can operate simultaneously, and from 823 to 832 MHz + 863 to 865 MHz, in which six systems can be used at the same time. True Diversity UHF wireless systems feature an automatic search function. This locates and selects the most suitable free transmission frequency, and simplifies configuration with a single button for easy infrared synchronisation of transmitter and receiver.
High-contrast OLED displays provide the best possible overview of functions, displaying group, channel, radio frequency, signal strength and battery level. Individual user names can also be entered. In addition to the squelch circuit, an inaudible pilot signal from the transmitter ensures interference-free operation. This prevents interference and switches off the receiver when a radio signal is received without this sound. Thanks to top-of-the-range components, the technological efficiency of the U500® series ensures accurate transmission, without distortion, latency or alteration. Low power consumption guarantees transmission autonomy of up to 10 hours with two AA batteries.
The U500® voice sets are available with handheld transmitters, headset microphones, tie microphones and single or dual receivers. In addition, interchangeable microphone capsules allow flexible adjustment of handheld microphones for singing and speaking.
