If you're a fan of Kirk Hammett, the iconic solo guitarist from the band Metallica, LTD has got you covered. This new signature model, fitted with a set of Bone Breaker EMG pickups, will give you the same crushing, precise lead sounds and smooth, rounded rhythm tones we all know so well. It's sold with its case.
Presentation
With a body made from Korina (a special type of mahogany), a maple neck and an ebony fingerboard, the KH-V 602 has all the characteristics of the sound you instantly recognise.
For Kirk, his tone starts with the pickups, he said: "Metallica's crunch sound is often cleaner than people expect. My taste in tone has definitely changed over the years. I don't like to use as much distortion these days, I prefer my tone to be nice and clean".
For LTD, the choice of pickups naturally turned to the Kirk Hammett EMG signature kit.
