This keyboard offers advanced control software instruments and DAWs via a 4.3-inch color screen. It features a semi-weighted keyboard with 49 keys and controls meticulously designed for intuitive operation without effort. Included with the VIP software that allows users to access any virtual instrument or effect VST their computer directly from the keyboard, users can quickly filter and search through their library of plug-in, just to find the desired patch
using the integrated indexing function. VIP automatically maps controls CTRL 49 to the selected plug-in, and displays the parameters of it directly on the color screen.
The VIP software in the CTRL 49 also creates a multi directly from the keyboard. Using a multi, producers can combine up to 8 patches of one or more plug-ins, with the possibility of overlapping. Users can even split the keyboard and transpose their patches individually. This advanced design allows users to record all the new sounds they created for easy recall at any time.

For optimal use live, VIP software also allows the creation of "setlist" which provides quick, on-demand, virtual instruments and effects. With the press of a button, users can move to the next plugin or desired patch without ever touching their computer.
