The FLkey 2 61 features a 61-key semi-weighted, velocity-sensitive keyboard, complemented by velocity-sensitive RGB pads with polyphonic aftertouch, 8 continuous rotary encoders, 9 faders, an OLED display, pitch bend and modulation wheels, and dedicated transport controls.
The Scale, Fixed Chord and Chord Maps modes, along with the arpeggiator, offer a wealth of creative possibilities, whilst the dedicated finger-drumming functions are compatible with FPC, SliceX and Fruity Slicer. Levels, filters and effects can be controlled directly from the keyboard.
Integration with FL Studio is complemented by compatibility with Mackie HUI, Native Kontrol Standard (NKS) and the Novation Components software for customisation. Connectivity includes a USB-C port, a 5-pin DIN MIDI output, a 6.35 mm jack input for a sustain pedal, and a Kensington anti-theft slot.
The FL Studio Signature Bundle software is supplied as a downloadable licence, with the serial number sent by email. It offers free lifetime updates, audio recording and editing, a step sequencer and piano roll, the Edison editor, Newtone, over 60 effects, 14 instruments, 8 generators, and a wide selection of samples and loops. It runs as a standalone application or as a VSTi plug-in on Windows and macOS.
