From its 16 channels, the 1640i is the flag of the Onyx series including all 16 mono mic / line channels feature a 4-band Perkins EQ with double semi-parametric midrange. Added to this are 6 aux sends may all be used before or after equalization or solo, 4 sub groups and a powerful master section. Despite the large number of channels, the 1640i is very compact, can be installed in a rack and enjoying our renowned Rotopod ™ design that allows its use in all configurations - a studio furniture, control facilities at concerts or in post production parts. The 1640i offers a FireWire capacity of 16 x 16 which allows users to route all channels, aux sends, sub groups and master L / R to your preferred DAW recording.
