Marcus Miller's album "Afrodeezia" represents a musical project deeply inspired by African roots. Released in 2015, the album blends jazz, funk, African music and Caribbean influences. Marcus travelled to several countries to meet local musicians and discover their sound traditions. The album uses a variety of instruments including the kora, balafon and different types of traditional percussion. The project highlights the cultural history linking Africa and the Americas through music. "Afrodeezia" has received excellent reviews for its artistic richness and strong cultural message. It also confirms Marcus Miller's exceptional musical openness.
