The P7 Alder-4 New Gen Dark Forest from Sire Marcus Miller is a 4-string bass that combines the DNA of the classic Precision Bass with the demands of modern playing, thanks to New Gen updates designed to improve balance, comfort and tonal range. The Modern-S bridge, lightweight open gear and chrome hardware complete an instrument designed for everyday stability and responsiveness.
Its North American alder body produces a consistent tonal response throughout the register: firm lows, defined mids and trebles without harshness. The New Gen C-profile hard maple neck offers a direct grip, while the Edgeless™ fingerboard with rolled edges eliminates friction in the up position, even during long sessions.
Stainless steel frets ensure stable intonation over time and increased longevity. Black block markers and black binding give this Dark Forest colour a dark, consistent aesthetic that's recognisable on stage.
On the electronics side, the Marcus Super-PJ Revolution set combines the roundness of the Precision pickup with the definition of the Jazz pickup. The Heritage-3 3-band preamp, with midrange frequency control and active/passive switching, covers a wide sound spectrum, from studio to stage.
