The 1974 appeared in 1966 and disappeared two years later. Just like the original, this reissue features a fully hand-wired, point-to-point circuit board, integrated into an aluminum chassis.

Likewise, it offers a tremolo and no less than six tubes whose sole purpose is to provide you with all the warmth and punch that one is entitled to expect from a "monument" like the 1974. Marshall even went so far as to ask its two main suppliers, Dagnall and Celestion, to reissue the transformer and speakers identically. Faced with the difficulty of the project and Marshall's express request to have, for this amp, the REAL and famous Greenback T1221, with ceramic magnet, which would now be almost 40 years old, Celestion had to develop an exclusive aging process... the result is simply AMAZING!!! Expect to shiver with pleasure when hearing this magnificent combo.
