The Martin Audio IK81-Dante is an 8-channel Class D amplifier designed for professional audio systems requiring compactness and efficiency. It delivers up to 1250 W per channel over a wide impedance range, while incorporating advanced 96 kHz DSP and full connectivity including Dante™. Martin Audio's IK81-Dante is an 8-channel amplifier designed to meet the needs of modern broadcast systems requiring high channel density in a compact format. Its Class D architecture enables it to deliver up to 1250 W per channel, whatever the impedance between 2 and 8 ohms, ensuring great operating flexibility.
This model incorporates advanced DSP processing operating at 96 kHz, offering a complete set of tools for system control: parametric equalisation, FIR filters, delay management, active filtering and limiting. The ability to use up to 1000 FIR taps per channel optimises system response, particularly in line array configurations or complex installations.
Extensive connectivity is a central feature of the IK81-Dante. It offers analogue inputs, AES3 as well as an AES67-compatible Dante™ network, making it easy to integrate into digital audio infrastructures. The two network ports provide signal redundancy, ensuring continuity of service in mission-critical applications.
Control and monitoring is via Ethernet using VU-NET™ software, allowing remote access to parameters, real-time monitoring and overall system management. A front-panel user interface also enables rapid local control.
The unit incorporates a comprehensive set of protections, including advanced limiters and monitoring systems, to maintain speaker and amplifier integrity. Its compact 2U design and low weight make it easy to fit into a rack. The IK81-Dante is therefore an ideal solution for multi-channel systems, whether for fixed installation or live operation.
