Martin Audio - THS Enceinte Trapézoïde Triaxiale

The Martin Audio THS is a triaxial 15" loudspeaker designed for systems that require high sound impact in a compact package. It is intended for club installations, live performances and corporate configurations where the SPL level must remain high while retaining definition.

Its three-way bi-amplified architecture is based on a 15" bass driver with a 4" voice coil, mounted in bass reflex with a neodymium magnet. This transducer works with a coaxial midrange and treble with an annular radiator, positioned behind the bass driver. This arrangement ensures phase coherence and an even response across the entire bandwidth.

The 85° x 50° horn provides precise coverage that can be used in a variety of environments. The horn can be tilted to adapt the sound distribution in a vertical or horizontal configuration, depending on your layout. This is particularly useful for both fixed and mobile installations where the angle of sound distribution needs to be adjusted quickly.

Sound pressure levels reach 135dB peak, putting this loudspeaker in a category suited to medium-sized clubs and events requiring a strong sound presence. The sound remains legible even at high levels, particularly in the midrange and treble thanks to the annular radiators.

Internal filtering manages the midrange/treble separation, while external bi-amplification allows the system to be fully exploited with dedicated amplifiers. You can use iKON or VIA series amplifiers with controllers to take advantage of the presets and DSP processing.

The birch plywood cabinet features a robust construction with a hard-wearing textured finish. Several M10 inserts are integrated for easy mounting on a lyre, stand, structure or sling. This flexibility allows you to integrate the loudspeaker into fixed or mobile configurations without any particular constraints.

The steel grille with multi-layer protection limits the ingress of dust and moisture, extending the life of the components. Integrated handles simplify handling during installation and removal.

By adding an SX Series subwoofer, you can extend the lower end of the spectrum and transform the system into a compact four-way configuration. This evolution makes it possible to adapt the system to more demanding uses in terms of low-frequency impact.
