Lefthanded Acoustic Guitar
An exceptional left-handed folk guitar that has been copied so many times. This guitar, which has been around for over 100 years, has seen its characteristics evolve, combining elements specific to pre-war models with modern performance (especially the neck profile).

Presentation
Vintage-inspired but upgraded a few years ago, like the D-18, the redesigned 000-18 offers many of the features found in pre-war guitars.
The beautifully aged 000-18 features a solid Sitka spruce top with real mahogany back and sides.
The body has a tortoise binding with a polished finish.
The short 24.9" neck features a modified low oval with a "Performing Artist" neck, 1-3/4" headstock saddle gap and 2-3/16" neck string for easier playability.
The open nickel tuners and Butterbean knobs coupled with the rosewood headstock clearly display the Martin Guitars affiliation, not least thanks to the large, prominent vintage Martin logo.

Folk acoustic guitar from the Standard series, created almost a century ago! The manufacturing process for this Martin guitar has set the benchmark for all modern acoustic guitars.
The Dreadnought shape was created in 1916 to deliver a richer, fuller sound at a time when amplification didn't exist. The Standard series is truly at the heart of Martin history.
