Among the models presented by Martin Guitars at the 2024 NAMM Show, the 00-X2E Cocobolo features a spruce top with an elegant abalone-patterned rosette and High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) back and sides in a new satin-finish cocobolo imitation version. This innovative material gives the X-series instruments enhanced durability and classic looks, without sacrificing THE renowned Martin sound.

Whether played acoustically or amplified, the 00-X2E L Cocobolo offers clear highs and warm bass, and is equipped with a Martin E-1 electronic capture and preamplification system with built-in chromatic tuner and volume, tone and phase controls, allowing you to play the way you want, wherever you want.
The neck, fingerboard and bridge materials have been selected to enhance sound and sustain.
The new X-Series models have benefited from playability improvements such as a thinner fingerboard with a slightly bevelled comfort edge, redefined string spacing, and a modernised bridge contour for a smoother, more ergonomic playing experience. All X-Series models come with a soft case.
