Martinez’s KEMA series stands out for its resolutely flamenco-inspired approach, whilst incorporating features designed for the stage. It combines a traditional nylon-string guitar construction with a cutaway, allowing for more comfortable access to the higher registers, and Fishman electronics depending on the model.
The range is available with a back and sides made from solid maple or solid rosewood, offering different tonal characteristics. The Signature versions are also recognisable by their particularly distinctive white finishes. With a scale length of 650 mm and a nut width of 50 mm, the KEMA retains the typical dimensions of a classical guitar whilst adopting a more contemporary aesthetic.
