The D-18 Satin 1935 Burst LH from Martin & Co is a left-handed acoustic guitar that combines heritage and contemporary comfort in a dreadnought D-14 fret format. Its generous body provides ample projection, ideal for both assertive rhythms and more nuanced passages, with a precise response under the fingers.
Its solid Sitka spruce top, combined with mahogany back and sides, produces a remarkable tonal balance: deep bass, present midrange and clear treble. The GE scalloped spruce bracing, inspired by models from the 1930s, creates an open resonance and natural dynamics for expressive playing.
The hardwood neck with GE Modified Low Oval profile and High-Performance Taper ensures a fluid grip along the entire length of the scale. The ebony fingerboard, decorated with Old Style 18 abalone inlays, combines elegance and precision. The open nickel tuning machines with Butterbean buttons contribute to the tuning stability and vintage style of the ensemble.
