The D-35 Johnny Cash LH + case from Martin & Co is a left-handed acoustic guitar inspired by the iconic model that Johnny Cash wore on stage for almost two decades. True to the spirit of the 'Man in Black', it has a gloss black finish that gives it a sober, distinctive look.
Its dreadnought D-14 action ensures powerful projection and tonal richness. The solid Engelmann spruce top, combined with East Indian rosewood for the back and sides, including the famous three-piece back characteristic of the D-35 model, produces a deep, balanced sound, ideal for accompanying the voice or playing solo. The forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing adds clarity and resonance, enhancing the instrument's dynamics.
The Modified Low Oval neck profile with Standard Taper provides a comfortable grip for a variety of styles. The edged ebony fingerboard, adorned with abalone star inlays and Johnny Cash's signature on the 20th fret, adds a unique aesthetic and symbolic dimension.
