Like the other new X-series models, it comes with a solid-wood neck, fingerboard, bridge and top.
The sides and back are made of HPL (High Pressure Laminate), a composite of pressed paper and resin heated to very high temperatures, which, thanks to its high fibre content, ensures an acoustic response equal to that of wood.
