Presentation
The HD-28 1933 Ambertone Golden Era LH from Martin & Co is aimed at left-handed guitarists looking for an instrument with an assertive character. Its dreadnought format combines a solid Sitka spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides for a full, balanced response.
The sculpted X-shaped bracing encourages the top to vibrate and develops a precise projection, with strong lows and defined highs, ideal for both picking and chording. The mahogany neck features a Modified Low Oval profile with High Performance Taper for easy movement along the entire length of the neck.
The ebony fingerboard and bridge contribute to the clarity of the attack and the stability of the whole. Mother-of-pearl inlays underline the model's elegance, while the Ambertone finish recalls the aesthetics of pre-war instruments.
With no electronics, this version emphasises the purity of the acoustic timbre. It comes with Martin's signature hard case for easy transport. Fitted with Martin Authentic Acoustic Medium strings, it reveals its full potential from the very first notes.
