Presentation
This Meinl AETLLE Cajon from the Artisan Tango Line series is entirely handmade in Spain. It features a 7-ply Baltic birch body (9 mm) and a clear eucalyptus front plate. This wood duo produces a clear, rich sound with a perfect balance between bass and treble.
Inside, 2 sets of 3 micro-wound snare strings ensure a precise, focused response. These strings are hand-tensioned to avoid parasitic vibrations and ensure even tension.
The strike plate is ergonomically curved to improve the feel under the fingers. The rounded corners prevent pressure points and make for smoother playing. Two notches have been cut into the top to provide natural support for the thumbs.
The rubber feet absorb vibrations and keep the Cajon firmly in place on any type of floor. The sober aesthetic of the light wood is enhanced by an impeccable finish and a pyrographed signature.
