The Meinl SC100AB is a Snarecraft series Cajon, carved from Baltic birch for deep bass and clear projection. With its 2 fixed internal timbres, it delivers a crisp response that's perfect for acoustic grooves. Easy to transport, it quickly becomes indispensable for unplugged sessions or small sets.

Presentation
The Meinl SC100AB Cajon has a 7-ply Baltic birch body (9 mm thick) for precise sound response. The low frequencies are well rounded and very present, while the highs are crisp without being aggressive.
This fine balance also comes from the choice of wood: birch is used in top-of-the-range drums, and not for nothing. The two fixed internal timbres give a very natural snare drum effect. The sound emanates from the rear, but the forward projection ensures that it is well distributed in space.
This Cajon can be played with the fingers as well as the palm. Stability is assured by 4 sturdy rubber feet. It fits perfectly into a hybrid percussion set.
