Melbourne Instruments BE - Pack Roto-Control Bitwig Edition + Cover

The Melbourne Instruments Roto-Control Bitwig Edition is a controller designed for direct interaction with Bitwig Studio. Its motorised design allows you to instantly retrieve the actual position of parameters without the need for manual readjustment. The eight brushless encoders provide precise haptic feedback for seamless navigation through plugins and tracks. The Bitwig Edition provides dedicated integration with a production- and performance-oriented workflow.

MIX mode provides real-time track control with immediate display of levels and essential functions. PLUGIN mode automates parameter mapping within Bitwig and compatible third-party plugins. MIDI mode transforms the unit into a universal controller for synthesisers and external devices. The Motion Recorder allows you to record up to 8 parameters across sequences of up to 64 steps.

The control surface combines 9 high-resolution IPS LCD screens and 16 RGB backlit buttons in Bitwig colours. Configurations can be stored in 64 memory slots organised into several banks. Each configuration can contain up to 64 controls and 64 assignable buttons, tailored to the project’s requirements. Editing can be carried out directly on the controller or via the Roto Setup application on a computer.

The Decksaver cover is precisely tailored to the dimensions of the Roto-Control Bitwig Edition to protect the sensitive components. Its smoked polycarbonate construction protects the motorised encoders and buttons during transport. The cut-outs allow cables to remain connected without restriction. The controller’s compact size is compatible with standard bags and flight cases. This means you can have a control station ready for use between sessions without having to readjust the hardware!
