The HUB4 is a multifunctional tool providing analogue and digital outputs for a variety of applications. It can feed up to four DP48 monitor mixers and 48 channels of 24-bit / 48 kHz audio. It also collects 48 channels of audio upstream and transmits this audio to the main console, either from stageboxes connected to the AES50-B (THRU) port, or from 8 return channels from each of ports 1-4.

For large configurations, the HUB4 can easily be connected in series to increase the number of DP48s, allowing you to manage the individual returns of a symphony orchestra.
It can also solve situations where you want to connect additional I/O via the same AES50 link to the mixing console.
To help create this AES50 console link, digital stageboxes such as the Midas DL16 or DL32 can be connected to the HUB4's AES50-B (THRU) port.
The console can pass downstream signals to their respective stage outputs, while also receiving 48 upstream channels from the stage inputs via HUB4.

The HUB4 has 16 balanced line level outputs which can carry the 8 stereo mixes of the DP48 mixers connected for side rack connections.
There is therefore no need to run additional lines between the personal mixers and the transmitters, considerably reducing set-up time and reliability.
These analogue outputs can also be used as spare outputs on a stage receiving signals directly from FOH consoles, e.g. to provide talkback or side fill outputs.
