The FiiO K15 Black is a desktop headphone amplifier designed to combine the functions of a DAC, headphone amplifier and hi-fi preamplifier in a single unit. Its fully balanced architecture utilises a dual AKM AK4497SVQ DAC to support playback of PCM files up to 32-bit / 768 kHz, as well as DSD512 and MQA formats.
Each channel has its own converter, filter and power supply, whilst two low-jitter Accusilicon oscillators contribute to the precision of the audio processing. Its Class AB amplification delivers up to 2,800 mW to power a wide range of headphones via its balanced and unbalanced outputs.
The FiiO K15 Black also features a 10-band equaliser, allowing you to adjust the sound to suit your listening preferences. Its front-panel display makes it easy to adjust settings and control the various functions. Its connectivity options allow it to be connected to a computer via USB, to an external storage device or even to a pre-amplified turntable, making it easy to centralise different audio sources.
