The MXR Smart Gate Pro Rack Unit was launched in 1999. To create it, the MXR Custom Shop brought together cutting-edge engineers and famous guitarists such as Eddie Van Halen, Slash, and Zakk Wylde. Together, they created custom effects pedals and reissues of hard-to-find classics, including this model. Today, the MXR Custom Shop is open to the public to bring you this benchmark. This unit does a great job of reducing noise.
