The Nedis VREP3460AT is a reliable solution for extending an HDMI link over long distances, where the use of a conventional HDMI cable becomes restrictive or unreliable. It enables audio and video signals to be transferred from one source to a screen in another room, using a simple network cable that is more flexible to install and better suited to long distances, particularly in existing ducts or conduits.

The extender works with a transmitter and receiver linked by a Cat6 or higher category Ethernet cable. This architecture makes it possible to cover a distance of up to 50 metres while maintaining a stable, synchronised image. The maximum resolution supported is 4096 × 2160 at 30 Hz, making it compatible with Ultra HD 4K content in many domestic and professional contexts. Lower resolutions, such as Full HD or 1080p at 120 Hz, are also supported.

The VREP3460AT transmits the audio signal alongside the video, with extensive compatibility including Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, Dolby Digital, LPCM and other compressed digital audio formats. This versatility makes it easy to integrate with televisions, amplifiers or home cinema systems located at a distance from the source.

A key feature of this model is its infrared feedback management. The transmitter and receiver modules each have IR inputs and outputs, enabling the connected devices to be controlled from the other room, in both directions. This makes it possible to control a remote source from the remote screen, or vice versa, without having to multiply the number of remote controls or additional solutions.

The anthracite metal casing provides excellent heat dissipation and durability over time. Mains-powered, the extender operates stably and continuously, with controlled power consumption both in operation and on standby. It is ideal for both residential installations and professional environments requiring reliable HDMI distribution over medium distances.
