Nord - Electro 7 61
The Nord Electro 7 61 is the new generation of the famous red stage keyboard. It brings together top-of-the-range pianos, organs from the Nord Organ 3 and a fully editable synth section, all in a compact, intuitive instrument designed for live performances.
Presentation
This new version is distinguished first and foremost by its much clearer, high-definition colour screen and completely redesigned navigation. Push-button rotary encoders make sound selection quicker and smoother, a real convenience in concert situations. The seamless transition between programmes means you can play one track after another without any sound interruption, an essential feature for live keyboardists.
The Nord Electro 7 is based on three independent sound modules: piano, organ and synth. Each can be used on its own, combined in layers or split across the keyboard using an advanced split system, with 9 split points clearly indicated by LEDs. Each module now has its own dedicated effects section, with a common studio-quality reverb, offering far greater sonic freedom than previous generations.
The piano section benefits from the latest advances in the Nord Piano Library, with advanced management of sympathetic resonance, dynamic filters and several velocity curves to suit individual playing styles. The organ section incorporates modelling from Nord Organ 3, including revamped phonic wheel organs, highly realistic rotary speaker emulation and physical harmonic drawbars with LED display.
A major new feature of this generation is that the synth section is now truly editable. It combines sample playback, analogue waveforms and FM synthesis, with resonant filters, full envelopes and advanced play modes. It's all true to the Nord spirit: powerful, but still easy to use.
The Electro 7 61 is a versatile, lightweight and extremely musical stage keyboard, capable of covering a wide range of styles without ever complicating the musician's work.
