Novation - Launchkey 25 MK4
The Novation Launchkey 25 MK4 is a versatile master keyboard from the Launchkey series, representing the fourth generation of this popular range. This compact controller, with its 25 velocity-sensitive keys, offers an optimised control surface for seamless integration with STANs such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro and more. The Launchkey 25 MK4 features an OLED display for clear visual feedback, 16 velocity-sensitive RGB backlit pads, and numerous intuitive controls such as pitch bend & modulation wheels. It also includes rotary encoders, navigation buttons and a MIDI DIN output, all in a robust, lightweight design. The Launchkey 25 MK4 now comes with the LE version of Cubase 14. But that's not all! New since NAMM 2025, Novation and Native Instruments have worked together to make the Launchkey compatible with the NKS ecosystem! And a new version of GForce's Bass Station software synth.
Presentation
With the Novation Launchkey 25 MK4, you get instant feedback thanks to the OLED display, which shows essential information such as the chords you're playing. The 16 RGB backlit pads, sensitive to velocity and polyphonic aftertouch, provide dynamic expression, whether you're finger drumming or launching clips in your STAN.
The Launchkey 25 MK4 offers powerful tools to enrich your creative process. Its arpeggiator, combined with Chord and Scale modes, lets you create complex chord progressions with ease. Chord Map mode gives you additional options for creating chord patterns on the pads, while Scale mode automatically adjusts notes to the chosen key, preventing false notes.
What's new? NKS compatibility is now available on Launchkey 25 MK4, and with it a completely new way of interacting with your virtual instruments.
No more fiddling with menus or setting up tedious assignments: everything works instantly, and every compatible plug-in becomes a natural extension of the keyboard.
If you thought you knew Bass Station, get ready to rediscover this classic in a whole new light. With 16 voices of polyphony, an enhanced sound engine and a sequencer packed with modulation options, GForce takes Novation's legacy to a new level. Wavering between nostalgia and modernity? Why choose when you can have both?
