The Ortofon MC Cadenza Mono phono cell is a top-of-the-range moving coil (MC) model specially designed for playing monophonic vinyl records. Its sound reproduction is highly musical and precise, with a touch of warmth that makes for particularly immersive listening.
The MC Cadenza Mono is equipped with a gold-plated moving coil made of 99.9999% pure silver (6N), guaranteeing optimum conductivity.
Micro-variations in the grooves are picked up by an extra-thin diamond-cut tip mounted on a cylindrical aluminium cantilever, ensuring precise groove tracking.
Installation of the Ortofon Cadenza Mono cell is simplified by an integrated screw thread, while the connection between the cell and the shell is made at three points for effective decoupling and reduced vibration.
