Presentation
The MC Quintet Black S is equipped with an Aucurum coil, a high-performance material produced from gold-plated category 9X copper. This coil offers excellent conductivity, enabling the finest details of recorded music to be reproduced.
The tip of the cell, cut entirely from a piece of diamond, has a Shibata shape, which offers a wide frequency response, low distortion and precise groove tracking.
The sapphire cantilever, meanwhile, is highly rigid and effectively dampens vibrations. As a result, it guarantees faithful, accurate sound reproduction, even on the most difficult tracks.
The MC Quintet Black S offers dynamic, lively sound reproduction. Low frequencies are deep and powerful, mids are clear and balanced, and highs are brilliant and detailed.

Top mounting of the Quintet cartridges is easy and secure using the screws provided. The aluminium frame has threaded mounting holes and is easily fitted with 5 or 7 mm screws depending on the thickness of the cartridge holder.
The right angles, straight lines, visibility of the tip and sufficient distance between the disc surface and the bottom of the cartridge of the Quintet series will facilitate the correct mounting and alignment of the cartridge and tone arm. The Quintet series gives excellent results with most common tone arms.
