Presentation
The Ovation 1718-1-G Pro Series guitar is part of the Pro Series, the historic heart of the Ovation catalogue. Its Grade A solid Sitka spruce top is combined with the Elite Quintad bracing, designed for a balanced response and good dynamics. The Deep Bowl body in Lyrachord GS adds depth and volume, while retaining the Ovation signature. The absence of a cutaway enhances the overall resonance of the body.
The multi-holes contribute to the visual identity and diffusion of the sound. The 5-piece mahogany and maple neck ensures stability and comfort along the entire length of the 643 mm scale. The pau ferro fingerboard, with a 10" radius, is pleasant to play both rhythmically and in arpeggios. The maple markings improve legibility without detracting from the aesthetics. The shoulder pads, inlaid with exotic woods, add to the instrument's visual character. The 42.8 mm nut is ideal for versatile playing.
