The Splash reacts very quickly, while the China adds an energetic trashy accent. The set easily covers all volumes and adds 2 distinctive colours to a kit without complicating play.

The Paiste PST 5 Effects Set features 2 cymbals designed to add precise accents to a modern kit. The 10" splash delivers a fast attack that cuts through the mix without dragging. Its timbre remains clear even when several strikes are made close together.
The 18" china brings a rougher character with a wide impact and an instantly recognisable trashy texture. It maintains a stable response at all volumes, making it easy to integrate into a rock or pop set.
The 2 cymbals use CuSn8 bronze, also known as 2002 bronze, an alloy known for its brilliant projection. Since the 2014 redesign, the PST 5s have become lighter and more flexible, which improves the feel under the stick. This evolution adds a discreet warmth while retaining the sparkle that characterises the series.
