The Paiste PST 5 Sound Edge Hats 14" cymbal uses a medium top combined with a corrugated bottom to ensure even airflow between the 2 cymbals. This "sound edge" effect enhances the precision of the chick while preventing open notes from saturating.
The CuSn8 alloy, known as Bronze 2002, provides a clear brilliance and a tight low end that's easy to control. The medium frequency range makes the hi-hat versatile, capable of accompanying both articulate playing and a looser groove.
