The Paiste PST 7 Light Hi-Hat cymbal is based on a CuSn8 alloy, known as Bronze 2002, which provides a solid, consistent base for variable-volume playing. You'll hear a mid-range, slightly bright sound colour that keeps the mix clean and burr-free.

With its lightweight design, the hi-hat reacts quickly and remains easy to control even when playing tight patterns. Open the foot slightly and you get a warm, lively blast that adds dynamics without masking the other instruments. The chick remains soft and clear, helping to set the tempo without aggression.

The Swiss craftsmen use traditional turning techniques to create the distinctive ridged look of the range. You can use it live as well as in one-off recording sessions, as it retains a stable definition even in the most energetic passages.
