Presentation
This direct box has been developed to meet the special requirements of the media sector. It allows simple connection of computers or other consumers to unbalanced outputs. One special feature is that the PLI 04 can be set to mono summing by means of a switch, and the output signal is then sent to the two XLR outputs.

Use a shielded cable to connect the left/right line outputs of the PLI04 to the sound system, and the input signal to the desired connector on the PLI04. Computer sound cards are generally equipped with a 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack connector or two RCA (cinch) connectors. On laptops, the stereo output also acts as a headphone socket.
Using several input connectors at the same time (e.g. jack and cinch/RCA) on the same channel is not recommended.
is not recommended, as the signals may be routed from one source to another.
If you are using a single channel, connect the signal to the red RCA socket to ensure earth connection.
