Presentation
The PRMMS8 is a high-quality 8-channel microphone splitter, ideal for live and studio applications.
This splitter is in 19-inch rack format, and features a low noise floor. It offers 8 balanced XLR inputs, each divided into a direct output and a transformer-isolated output.
For greater flexibility of use, 4 LINK selectors on the front panel allow 2 channels to be coupled at a time. This makes it possible to route one input signal to 4 different outputs (for example, for front-of-house mixing consoles, monitors, recording and broadcasting), or to combine two input signals into a single output signal.
Condenser microphones can be powered via the direct outputs using phantom power. Each channel is also equipped with a Ground Lift switch, eliminating hum or interference that can occur when two mains-connected devices have different ground potentials.
