Consisting of 5 6-ply poplar drums (7.5 mm), this set delivers a warm sound and well-balanced resonance. The elegant Midnight Blue finish, sturdy NDL shells and deep-drawn banding are all hallmarks of Pearl quality. The OptiLoc system guarantees precise suspension of the toms and exceptional sustain.
In terms of configuration, the 20 "x16" bass drum, drilled with a mini-muffler, delivers powerful low notes. The 14 "x5.5" wooden snare is responsive, while the toms (10 "x7", 12 "x8" and 14 "x14") produce warm mids and excellent projection.
To complete the package, Pearl adds a pack of Sabian PX cymbals with a precise 14" hi-hat, an explosive 16" crash and a 20" ride with controlled harmonics. The HWP-834 hardware included is reliable, stable and includes the P-930 Demonator pedal, renowned for its fast response and playing comfort.
